Medibank benefits
Health support benefits can be paid for certain services recommended by a health practitioner intended to manage an existing health condition, such as CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet membership fees for Medibank members on eligible cover.
For Health Support Benefits, a health practitioner means a Medical Practitioner/General Practitioner, Physiotherapist, Dietician, Occupational Therapist, Exercise Physiologist, Psychologist, Chiropractor or Osteopath.
Health fund rebates terms and conditions
Please note that Medibank require the appropriate recommendation and necessary forms to be filled out prior to purchasing the program.
This form is valid for a maximum of two (2) years from the referral date and will need to be renewed after that time. Health support benefits are only available on some Extras covers. Check your cover summary to see if Health Support Benefits are included on your cover, and what waiting periods and annual limits apply.

CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet refund offer & rebates
CSIRO Total Wellbeing Diet members who are eligible for a rebate from their health insurer are not eligible for the program refund offer which refunds membership fees at the end of the 12 Week Program.
If you are eligible for a rebate through your health insurer, you will receive an invoice from us at the end of your program that you can pass on to your insurer. If you are claiming through a health fund, you do not need to meet the regular refund criteria that apply to other members. Conditions vary between health insurers, so please check with your fund for details.
